The sculpture was made by Bella Crişan in 1976 and consists of 27 octagons, arranged from the smallest to the largest in the form of a labyrinth. The octagon is a symbol of eternal life, and its ascending arrangement symbolises the prosperity and gradual development of the city on the river bank. The way out of the labyrinth is positioned towards the city, from which we deduce that it is waiting to be discovered by those who are curious.
